Ronald McDonald House® is the cornerstone charity of Ronald McDonald House Charities®. Ronald McDonald House at Stanford provides a "home-away-from-home" and support for the families of children with life-threatening illnesses receiving treatment at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. As medical treatments evolve, more and more of the ill children stay at the House as outpatients while receiving treatment. Ronald McDonald House provides a haven these families can call home, permitting them to give their ill child complete attention and support. Ronald McDonald House is a unique facility, offering an opportunity for families to share common concerns, while also giving them a break from the hospital routine.
