 The Rev. Wilma J. Reichard is a Staff Chaplain. Rev. Reichard is a graduate of Yale Divinity School with a master's in religion and a master's in divinity. Though the department is interfaith in nature, she was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1979. Before coming to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Rev. Reichard was a pastor in a congregation, a Hospice and Hospital Chaplain. She is also a certified A.C.P.E. (Association of Clinical Pastoral Education) Supervisor.Rev. Reichard has been at Stanford and LPCH since 1989. She works with 3 North and South, neurology, neurosurgery and kidney transplant patients. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is located in Palo Alto, adjacent to Stanford University Hospital, approximately 20 miles north of San Jose, CA and 40 miles south of San Francisco.
