Conjoined Twins Angelina and Angelica Sabuco

Twins Angelina and Angelica Sabuco were born conjoined at the chest and abdomen in the Philippines in August, 2009. They underwent a 10-hour separation surgery at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital on November 1, 2011.

  Angelina and Angelica are running around, making new friends, and looking forward to a third birthday party in August—their first as separate girls. New photos and video of the separated twins have been posted.

  Angelina and Angelica will return to their home in San Jose, CA later this week. New photos and videos of the newly separated twins have been posted.

  Read about Angelina and Angelica's successful separation surgery. The girls will recuperate in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for about a week before moving to a regular hospital room.
