Patient care comes first at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. If at any time you have questions or concerns about you or your child’s care, please do not hesitate to speak with your physician, the manager of your hospital unit, a social worker, a chaplain or one of our Patient Representatives. You can reach Patient Representatives directly by calling (650) 498-4847. The line is answered by the Patient Relations staff between the hours of 7:00 am-7:00 pm, Monday-Friday. After hours and on weekends, a voice mail system answers the call in English and in Spanish allowing the caller to leave a message. All messages will be returned the next business day. If you feel we have been unable to address your care or safety concerns, you may contact the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) by calling (800) 994-6610 or e-mailing complaint@jcaho.org. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is located in Palo Alto, adjacent to Stanford University Hospital, approximately 20 miles north of San Jose, CA and 40 miles south of San Francisco.
