Heart Disease Prevention Program

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital offers personal programs for the evaluation and prevention of known or suspected heart disease or other cardiovascular conditions in children. Physicians can evaluate children with controlled and standardized exercise tests that are done in our state-of-the-art exercise laboratory. An exercise physiologist can prescribe safe levels of exercise to enhance health outcomes and quality of life and to manage or prevent disease progression.

Referring physicians can call (650) 721-2121 to refer patients to the Heart Disease Prevention Program.
