Outstanding Outcomes for Treatment of Heart Conditions in Children

Our patients – including those with the most complex cardiac conditions – have unsurpassed survival rates. Our overall, non-risk adjusted survival rate is over 98 percent. Center for Cardiovascular Outcomes Analysis

We have tapped the expertise of Stanford University’s School of Health Research and Policy Bioinformatics program and outstanding computing resources to develop a unique outcomes analysis center. The Center includes a dedicated statistician, clinical research nurses, and a comprehensive database that includes outcomes from all Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital pediatric cardiac surgical and cardiology patients. Researchers can rapidly access this outcomes data to reduce length of hospital stay and improve long-term outcomes and quality of life.
