Depending on the fetal diagnosis, your care team may include specialists from:
  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine – Obstetricians who specialize in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies
  • Neonatology – Pediatricians who specialize in treating ill and premature newborns
  • Genetics and Perinatal Genetics – Experts in disorders and syndromes that are at least partially caused by genes or heredity
  • Radiology – Doctors who specialize in fetal, infant and childhood diagnostic imaging
You can visit these teams’ pages on the Stanford University School of Medicine Web site to learn more about their research and academic activities.
