• The Newborns and Parents Committee (NAP) promotes family-centered care by providing education, advocacy and support to hospitalized mothers, parents of hospitalized newborns and hospital staff.  The NAP Committee is comprised of “graduate” parents who have experienced a hospitalized newborn working in partnership with Packard Children's Hospital staff to foster family-centered care in the Johnson Center.
