Superior pediatric pulmonary care and pediatric cystic fibrosis treatment provided by leading pulmonologists, pediatricians and other specialists.
The Center for Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Diseases at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, a leading California Children's Hospital, deals with children's breathing in all its aspects:

  • chronic sinus problems or recurring colds
  • allergies
  • control of breathing
  • sleep and wakefulness
  • pediatric cystic fibrosis
  • obstruction of airflow from common diseases such as croup, bronchiolitis, and childhood asthma
  • bronchopulmonary dysplasia
  • problems breathing due to muscular disorders
  • accidents such as inhalation of foreign bodies
  • problems associated with other diseases such as congenital heart disease, paralysis, and muscular dystrophy
Our team of pediatric pulmonologists works closely with many other specialists at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, including ear, nose & throat specialists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, neonatologists and orthopaedic surgeons. We also work closely with the lung transplant team at Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

Cystic fibrosis patients and organ transplant recipients Emma Greene and Tiffany Senter Emma Greene and Tiffany Senter
Emma Greene and her good friend, Tiffany Senter, have a lot in common. The 18-year-old California natives were both diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in early childhood, graduated high school with perfect GPAs, and underwent organ transplants to give them new chances at life.
