Cystic Fibrosis is the most common reason for a lung transplant in
children and young adults. Stanford's lung transplant program is
world-renowned and has published outstanding success outcomes for CF and
many other serious lung diseases.
We work closely with the lung transplant team at Stanford Hospital and
Clinics to evaluate candidates and to manage pre- and post-transplant
care. Stanford has the highest lung transplant survival rate in the
world.
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is located in Palo Alto, adjacent to Stanford University Hospital, approximately 20 miles north of San Jose, CA and 40 miles south of San Francisco.
