The Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital provides evaluation and management for children of all ages with congenital or acquired cardiac or vascular anomalies.
Services include:
- New and innovative surgical procedures
- Consultation and surgery for inpatients provided in concert with Neonatology and Cardiology divisions
- Unifocalization procedures
- Complex defects in neonates especially in premature and low birth weight infants
- Neonates with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and other complex defects
- Fetal cardiac surgery
- Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgical approaches for all ages
- Evaluation and management for children of all ages with congenital or acquired cardiac or vascular anomalies
- Consultation with parents and family members to discuss options for surgical management and anticipated risks, benefits and alternatives
- Designated Center of Excellence for approved and contracted payors.
