Pediatric Rheumatology-Dermatology

Dedicated to Treating Autoimmune Rheumatic Disease

The Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital pediatric dermatology and rheumatology services have joined together to form an interdisciplinary team dedicated to care of children with rheumatic disease impacting the skin, musculoskeletal system, and internal organs.  The team is headed by Dr. Joyce Teng, a pediatric dermatologist, and Dr. Tzielan Lee, a pediatric rheumatologist.

Our goals are to provide comprehensive care to children with debilitating autoimmune disorders.  In association with the nationally known Stanford adult dermatology and rheumatology clinic, Stanford is one of the first hospitals in the nation to provide multidisciplinary care for patients of all ages suffering from autoimmune rheumatic disease.  Our mission is to improve the understanding and treatment of these complex diseases through excellence in patient care, collaboration, and cutting-edge scientific investigation.
Conditions treated include:
  • Lupus Erythematosus
  • Psoriatic arthritis
  • Dermatomyositis
  • Scleroderma
  • Vasculitis
  • Periodic Fever Syndromes
  • Unclassified autoimmune conditions of skin and musculoskeletal system
