Welcome to the Pediatric Dermatology practice at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality, multidisciplinary care for children with a variety of skin conditions. Our team—one of the largest pediatric dermatology group practices in the country—is prepared to offer expertise, education, consultation and medical management for your child’s condition.We offer comprehensive services for evaluation and management of disorders in all pediatric age groups. Each patient is unique and may require a unique combination of treatment methods. Therefore Packard Children’s provides a range of physicians, surgeons and specialists who work together to address your and your child’s individual needs.
In addition to evaluation and treatment of disease, we work to promote sun-awareness behavior in children of all ages, and provide guidance for a lifetime of healthy skin, hair and nails.

- Inpatient dermatologic care provided for children with severe or extensive skin disease
- A full range of dermatologic surgical services, including laser ablation of vascular birthmarks
- Diagnostic procedures including skin biopsy and dermatopathologic tissue examination, fungal preparations and culture
