Deviated Septum: An abnormal shape of the cartilage wall separating the two chambers of the nose. A deviated septum may cause breathing problems or nasal discharge.
-
Pediatric Sinusitis: A childhood infection of the sinuses near the nose, usually occurring after a cold or an allergic inflammation.
-
-
Pediatric Mastoiditis: Inflammation or infection of a child's mastoid bone, which is a portion of the temporal bone located behind the ear. Mastoiditis in children is often a complication of a middle ear infection (acute otitis media).
