Overview

Our panel of experts from the Comprehensive Eating Disorders Program will discuss how to know when too much exercise is unhealthy and how to identify young athletes at risk for eating disorders.
 
At the end of this presentation, attendees should be able to:
  1. Identify the symptoms of an eating disorder, particularly as it relates to the athlete
  2. List the three components of the “Female Athlete Triad”
  3. Be aware of the latest research on how to treat eating disorders
  4. Know what to do when a parent or coach suspects an eating disorder
