The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Dominican Hospital is a 14-bed, Level III nursery offering 24 hour, community-based care for infants who are premature or have a wide range of illnesses. By partnering with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the NICU at Dominican is supported by Stanford neonatologists and subspecialists who are always available for consultation. When necessary, infants requiring urgent specialized neonatal surgery will be stabilized at Dominican and transferred to Packard.

Our goal is to provide the highest level of care available, while at the same time keeping babies in their community and close to their families.
