Orthopedic Clinic Overview
The Orthopedic Clinic at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital provides consultation and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions and diseases in children and in adults with residuals of childhood problems.
Types of problems treated include:
- Spinal deformities
- Clubfoot
- Congenital dislocation of the hip
- Conditions such as Legg-Perthes disease
- Musculoskeletal tumors
- Sports-related conditions
- Neuromuscular disease, such as cerebral palsy, with orthopedic manifestations
The Orthopedic Clinics works closely with the Motion and Gait Analysis Laboratory for objective evaluation of gait.
