The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Obstetrics Clinic provides state-of-the-art care to promote the health of pregnant women and their babies. Our team includes maternal-fetal medicine specialists, general obstetric specialists, nurse midwives and nurse practitioners. Our team approach to patient care allows us to provide the best care for women with both complicated and normal pregnancies.We provide:
- Preconception counseling - Counseling prior to pregnancy to discuss medical conditions and their relationship to pregnancy
- General obstetrics care
- High-risk obstetrics care for women whose pregnancies have complications involving the mother and/or fetus
- Diabetes counseling and care for women who have Type I or II diabetes prior to becoming pregnant or who develop gestational diabetes
Our clinic is part of the Charles B. and Ann L. Johnson Center for Pregnancy and Newborn Services.
