Important Change to Hospital Visitation Policy

Effective October 19, 2009, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital will no longer allow non-patient visitors or family members under the age of 16 years to visit in the hospital. This policy will be in effect during the height of the flu season, usually lasting until spring, and will be re-evaluated at that time. Pulmonary Medicine

The Pulmonary Medicine Clinic uses a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat pulmonary problems in children.
 
We assess problems resulting from:

• Sleep apnea
• Gastroesophageal reflux-related lung disease 
• Respiratory complications of neurologic and neuromuscular disorders

Our services include a complete pulmonary function laboratory and sleep study laboratory designed to meet the unique needs of children.

Cystic Fibrosis

The Cystic Fibrosis Clinic offers consultation and management for Cystic Fibrosis patients of all ages. Our vigorous and wide-ranging clinical research program offers new therapies for many of our patients.
 
We are Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-accredited for patient care, teaching and research.
