Matias Bruzoni, MD
Matias Bruzoni, MD, is a native of Argentina. He received his undergraduate degree at the Saint Mark’s School in Buenos Aires and his Medical Education at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. From 2001 to 2005, Matias completed a general surgery residency at the British Hospital in Buenos Aires. He spent the next year completing a transplantation fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He stayed at the University of Nebraska to complete their general surgery residency, which he finished in June of 2009.Matias’s areas of scholarly interest are in minimal access surgery, education, and biodesign. He has won several awards for his research and has also received several teaching awards. He is married to Vicky, and they have two children, Tomas and Sophia.
