The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital pediatric general surgery team provides full time, inpatient care at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose and conducts outpatient (clinic) visits in our South Bay office. The Pediatric General Surgery Program at Good Samaritan Hospital is an example of Packard Children's commitment to bringing the highest quality pediatric surgical services to the local community. 
 
Since Good Samaritan does not currently have a surgery training program, Packard Children's surgeons provide direct patient care on a 24 hours a day/7 days a week basis. The support of pediatric anesthesiologists, intensivists and nursing staff allow us to perform a wide spectrum of operations at Good Samaritan's Children’s Surgery Center. This includes laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures on newborns through adolescents.
