Important Change to Hospital Visitation Policy

Effective October 19, 2009, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital will no longer allow non-patient visitors or family members under the age of 16 years to visit in the hospital. This policy will be in effect during the height of the flu season, usually lasting until spring, and will be re-evaluated at that time. Appointments

You can also call your pediatrician’s office if you would like to speak to a nurse. The nurse can help you decide whether your child needs to be seen at the clinic.

Follow-up with Your Pediatrician

We will fax the notes from your child’s After Hours Clinic visit to child’s primary pediatrician. This will allow your pediatrician follow-up with you as needed.

Team

The After Hours Clinic is staffed by:

  • A registrar who gathers the patient’s information and registers the patient for their visit
