Services Overview

Our pediatric imaging program is committed to improving the health of children through the application of state-of-the-art technology. Our fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists and professional staff provide imaging services in a child-friendly environment. Comprehensive imaging-related services are available, such as:

• Radiologist consultation
• Sedation
• General anesthesia (supervised by pediatric anesthesiologists)

A full range of imaging studies are available including:

• MRI
• MR Spectroscopy
• CT
• 3D Imaging Techniques
• Ultrasound
• Fluoroscopy
• Nuclear Medicine PET/CT
• Plain films (computed radiography)

Preparing Your Child for An Imaging Study

The Packard Kids Connection Web site shows children what it's like to get an x-ray, MRI or CT scan. The site is geared toward children ages 5-12.
