Important Change to Hospital Visitation Policy

Effective October 19, 2009, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital will no longer allow non-patient visitors or family members under the age of 16 years to visit in the hospital. This policy will be in effect during the height of the flu season, usually lasting until spring, and will be re-evaluated at that time. The main hospital entrance, information desk, Heart Center and Bass Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases are located on the first floor of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.

Inpatient units, as well as special areas such as recreation therapy and the chapel, are located on the second and third floors of the hospital.

The cafeteria and outpatient pharmacy are located on the ground floor, or basement level, of the hospital.
