Family-Centered Care Services for Oncology Families
Parent MentorsOncology parent mentors are parents of former Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital oncology patients. They are trained to provide peer support to parents of current patients.
Parent mentors can meet with parents of currently hospitalized children weekly, at the bedside or on the telephone. These mentors are available to families throughout a child’s treatment.
Please contact your social worker if you would like to meet with a parent mentor.
