Gifts and Flowers

Gift Shop

The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Gift Shop offers a variety of gifts and sundries. The Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the hospital, next to the Information Desk. A Gift Shop volunteer will be happy to help you make a purchase. Gift wrapping and delivery to a patient's room are free of charge. Learn more about the Gift Shop.
 

 
Balloons

Latex balloons are not allowed inside Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. They pose a serious safety risk to some of our patients that may include allergic reactions and choking. Mylar balloons ARE allowed in the hospital.
 
 

Sending Mail or Gifts

You or your child may receive mail or gifts while at the hospital. Please note that patients in the Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases (hematology / oncology / stem cell transplant) are not able to receive stuffed animals for infection control reasons.

Letters and packages are delivered to patient rooms daily. Please address items:

Sending Flowers

Patients in intensive care units (NICU and PICU) and the Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases (hematology / oncology / stem cell transplant) are NOT able to receive flowers. We suggest speaking to the patient or parent and asking about an alternate gift would be.
 
Fresh flowers can be ordered from our partner, Stanford Floral Design, at (650) 462-8230. They will donate a portion of their profits from your purchase to the hospital Gift Shop to ultimately help our patients and families.
