Call the Radiology Department at (650) 497-8376. You will be asked to fax orders for the MRI and for any sedation. Please note that insurance companies requiring pre-authorization generally require separate authorizations for the MRI and the sedation. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is located in Palo Alto, adjacent to Stanford University Hospital, approximately 20 miles north of San Jose, CA and 40 miles south of San Francisco.
