New Family Program |

The New Family Program is designed to help families throughout the first nine months after birth, offering something for everyone. The one time fee of $200.00 for LPCH-delivered babies ($225.00 for others) includes participation in the programs below.
Registration is most commonly done in the morning Mothers' groups on-site. All groups held at the Hoover Pavilion, Room NC209, 211 Quarry Road (across from the Stanford Shopping Center).
Mother and Baby Mornings
The Mother and Baby Mornings discussion groups are each led by an experienced postpartum facilitator, offering a venue for mothers and newborns to meet and share the postpartum experience. Occasional speaker presentations, handouts and special celebrations are included. Ongoing groups allow for new mothers to join in each week. Registration is typically done at the door. Held in Room NC209 in the adjoining back building of the Hoover Pavilion (see map link above for directions and parking).
- Meeting Times:
- Ongoing each Tuesday, 10-11:30 am for mothers with young babies birth to 5 months of age
- Ongoing each Wednesday 1-2 pm for mothers with babies five to nine months of age

Couples Coffee
Our newest addition to the New Family Program, Family Time provides an opportunity for new mothers, fathers and their baby/ies to meet. This discussion group is facilitated by an experienced group leader.

Working Mothers' Group
The Working Mothers' Group is an evening meeting of mothers (and their babies) who have either already gone back to work or are contemplating making the transition back to work after the birth of their child. Discussions focus on issues regarding childcare, breastfeeding, pumping and bottle feeding, and juggling career and motherhood.
Meeting time: One weekday night each month, 6:30-8:00 pm

Dads' Nights
Our Fathers' Nights offer an opportunity for new fathers and their babies to get together to discuss the unique role dads play in their children's lives. Led by an experienced group facilitator, this group is for dads and babies, 0-9 months of age. Dads are welcome to drop in with or without babies.
Meeting time: One Wednesday night each month (unless otherwise noted), 7:00-8:30 pm

Guardianship
- October 1 --- speaker on Baby-proofing your home
