Childbirth Prep Class

This course focuses on labor and delivery of the baby, providing an overview and emphasizing the many variations of normal birth. We discuss relaxation and breathing techniques for use during labor as well as some postpartum information. Taught by a certified childbirth educator, this class presents audio-visual information and provides a text. The Birth Center Orientation video is shown during each Childbirth Prep Class. This class is geared for expectant couples in their 3rd trimester of pregnancy. It is generally recommended that the class finish at least 3 weeks before your due date.

Plus as an added bonus we are pleased to now offer full membership in our Mother-Baby Mornings groups with all registrations in the Childbirth Prep Class.

Fee:  $180/couple if taken separately from the full program

concurrently or have already taken our Childbirth Prep Class in order to attend the Comfort Techniques class.

  • Expecting twins or triplets?  We offer a Preparing for Multiples class intended to augment the Childbirth Prep Class with specifics on delivering multiples.
