News The News and Communications Department is the link between Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the local, national and international media. Members of the News and Communications department staff are available around the clock. Seminars, Lectures and Community Health Events Hear from LPCH's clinical experts and participate in community health events to get tips on keeping your children safe and healthy. Classes Lucile Packard Children's Hospital offers several classes, including our Becoming Parents series for before and after the birth. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is located in Palo Alto, adjacent to Stanford University Hospital, approximately 20 miles north of San Jose, CA and 40 miles south of San Francisco.
