Center for Advanced Pediatric Education (CAPE) |
The mission of the Center for Advanced Pediatric Education (CAPE) is to prepare physicians, nurses and allied health care personnel to successfully manage medical emergencies through simulated training experiences that pose no risk to human patients. Using the state of the art technologic resources in the Center, medical professionals are immersed in intense, dynamic, complex medical scenarios to acquire and practice the technical and behavioral skills required to provide optimal care for mothers and babies.
Course offerings include:
- Neonatal Resuscitation in the Simulated Delivery Room
- Team Training in the Simulated Delivery Room
- Training for Neonatal Transport
CME, CEU, and NRP certifications are available for these courses. Additional programs are continuously being developed and refined.
