Children’s Heart Center - Pediatric Heart Surgery and Treatment for Congenital Heart Defects
In 2010, the Children’s Heart Center was recognized as one of the top five pediatric heart and heart surgery programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.
The Heart Center team at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital consists of specialists who have been specifically trained to diagnose and treat infants, children and adolescents with heart
disease or congenital heart defects. Our pediatric cardiologists practice cardiology full-time and are certified in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. The Children’s Heart Center has developed techniques that allow congenital heart surgery even in extraordinarily small newborns, including successful repair in the smallest, youngest infant known.
